WHAT IS THE MEDIUM PERFORMANCE PROJECT?

Aurelia is launching an exclusive, co-operative project that will use its knowledge of corrugated board and box performance know-how to deliver:

  • A new method to determine the contribution of the medium to long term stacking box performance (Comparative evaluation of your papers from different machines and grades).
  • Confirmation of the relative performance of medium type (virgin vs recycled) on the creep response of corrugated board.
  • A measurement prototype to allow in-house evaluation of likely medium performance of board under ongoing load

Cost Savings

savings will come from decreased used of expensive fibre mediums in certain box applications and by using the knowledge developed within the project to design new medium grades. The impact of board damage during manufacture will also be assessed.

Optimisation

You will receive the opportunity to optimise your corrugators and performance

New Exclusive Methods

Discover new methods to determine whether virgin mediums give superior box performance in stacking compared to recycled mediums and under what conditions.

Prototypes

Receive a measurement rig prototype that will allow relative performance of corrugated board to be characterised.

3 Year Exclusivity

Exclusivity within your region for the use of the bench technology system for three (3) years.

Ongoing Exclusivity

Receive the option of ongoing exclusivity subject to licensing agreements.
